  • If We start to pay Monthly Benefit because You are Disabled and You become Unemployed You must write and advise Us straight away. When deciding if Your claim is valid, We will ignore the fact that You have not been Working because of Your Disability. We will continue to pay Your Disability benefit while it remains valid. If You are still Unemployed once a Doctor says You are fit to return to Work, You must tell Us and We will ask You to complete an Unemployment claim form.
